Lilly Moreno, Ph.D., LDT & CALT


Lilly obtained her license to become a Dyslexia Therapist and a Certified Academic Language Therapist from the Dyslexia Institute of Austin in August 2023. She received her Doctorate from the University of Texas at Arlington, in Education Leadership and Policy Studies, her Master’s Degree in Administration, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Special Education. She is Texas Certified in Early Childhood-4th grade General Education, Special Education (K-12), ESL, and Administration. Lilly has worked at the elementary and secondary levels as an educator, Master Teacher, member of the administration team, Special Education Department Chair, and Testing Strategist for 14 years.


In 2017, Lilly joined South Texas College as a professor teaching Education classes to inspiring teachers. In addition to being a full-time professor, Lilly works privately with students providing dyslexia therapy. Lilly is passionate about her work with children and is dedicated to supporting students with dyslexia and other learning differences. 


She believes in empowering students, parents, and educators with insights into dyslexia and related learning differences.


Her work strives to create a dyslexic community based on understanding, knowledge, and support. She also assists parents in navigating their journey with dyslexia.
